The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba season 2 ended with an emotional episode. Leaving fans sad and wanting for more. But do not worry, Cause ufotable has very exciting news for everyone. On Monday, February 14, 2022, the creators of the hit anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba announced that a third season is in the works.

The Swordsmith Village Arc will be the highlight of the third season. According to a 40-second teaser. It should be roughly 10-12 episodes long and cover about 25 chapters of the manga. In this part, Tanjiro’s adventures begin as he visits Swordsmith Village to obtain a new weapon. The first look of the third season came out shortly after the second. Which came out with its final episode on Sunday, February 13.

The Entertainment District arc was a huge hit among fans. They were wowed by the consistently high-quality animation during battles. Apart from the fact that the upcoming arc has begun the development stage, Ufotable hasn’t revealed anything more.

Expected Release Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Upcoming Season 3 (Speculation, Approximate)

The production team hasn’t revealed anything about the release date. But Given that the manga has been completed. And the series is adapting source material with little to no fillers. All we can do is speculate. Demon Slayer could wrap up the forthcoming arc in 12 to 13 episodes. Based on the duration of the arc. Fans can expect the Swordsmith Village arc to come probably in February 2023. Also, it may cover chapters 98-127 of the manga.

Swordsmith Arc: What’s next for Tanjiro?
